Research and Internships

research and internships

Percentage of Emory students with research projects and internshipsLearning at Emory does not happen in a vacuum, or even an ivory tower. We think it’s important that our curriculum is enhanced by research and internship opportunities that extend beyond the classroom, and even beyond campus. Our faculty and graduate students welcome the chance to work with undergraduates as they conduct research. These undergraduates get to take advantage of Emory’s state-of-the-art facilities and laboratories.

Just as important is Atlanta’s role as a business and cultural center. We place students in internships throughout the city, with organizations as diverse and impressive as The Coca-Cola Company, the NBA Atlanta Hawks, CNN, The Carter Center and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The invaluable experiences made possible by Emory’s renowned faculty, our location in Atlanta and our innumerable affiliations distinguish us as a place where students have their heads in and their hands on their studies. Emory students also intern at various locations around the U.S. and the world during the summer months.
