Atlanta is a business hot spot, home to the headquarters of eleven Fortune 500 companies, including The Home Depot, UPS, The Coca-Cola Company and Delta Air Lines. No one industry dominates, rather many industries thrive here including music, marketing, transportation, communications, technology, medical, trade, manufacturing and service.
What this means for Emory students is a wealth of opportunities in all business sectors both for internships during college and employment after graduation.

“Around the middle of my junior year at Emory, I started to realize how much I love Atlanta and how strange it would be to leave after graduation. Once I did an internship at CNN, I knew that ultimately I would like to live here and hopefully work at CNN. And my internships helped me network for a job after graduation.
“In general, I feel Atlanta is a great place to network, regardless of what field you are interested in pursuing . . . there are a lot of huge corporations that call Atlanta home.”
