November’s cooling temperatures signal the beginning of winter and the approaching Thanksgiving break.
But November also brings Unity Month, a campus-wide celebration of the religious, ethnic, racial, and international diversity found at Emory.
Through performing arts events such as Cultural Beats, a showcase of dance and music, to film screenings, lectures, and food festivals, the entire campus celebrates the ties that bind and gains a greater appreciation for the many different types of people who make up our community.
The month ends with the semiformal Unity Ball, one of the year’s most anticipated events.
