On May 11, we will celebrate the 164th commencement exercises of Emory University. For the Class of 2009, Commencement marks the culmination of years of study and preparation that have gone into their degrees. The presence of family and friends among the 15,000 who will assemble on the Quadrangle signifies the support, love, and belief in these students that helped to make their graduation possible.
I encourage you to explore this website. Within these pages you will discover the many graduation events, as well as instructions and helpful information to prepare for Commencement.
So to all, I look forward to welcoming you to this time-honored and festive occasion, and congratulations to the Class of 2009!
