Since many of the details will be similar to the 2009 information below, we recommend that you use the information to get a general idea of the responsibilities and activities surrounding Commencement. Formal Graduation Portrait
Smile! The talented team from Emory Photo/Video will capture moments of Commencement pride and joy at portrait sessions from May 6 through Commencement day. In your regalia, individually or with friends and family, formal and solemn or beaming with happiness, click here for flyer and pricing information (see timing change below).
Dates: Wednesday May 6th, Thursday 7th, Friday 8th,
Time: Noon to 6:00pm
Note: the DUC closes @ 6:00pm (advertising stated 7:00pm)
Date: Sunday May 10th
Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm (after Baccalaureate)
Date: Monday May 11th
Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm
On Commencement, May 11, 2009 photo sessions will be offered on a first come basis and no reservations will be taken.
Please submit contact information, a preferred time & date to gradphoto@emory.edu to reserve a session. The staff will a call to set-up your appointment.

Diploma Ceremony Photography
Each school handles diploma ceremony photography differently. Nearly all have professional photographers in place to take the best shot and who will send you a proof so that you can decide if you wish to order a print. If the school allows you to approach the stage with personal cameras during the diploma ceremony, please follow all photography rules (where to stand, how early you can move forward, etc.) so that all family members have an opportunity to see their loved one receive a diploma. Tripods and standing photographers are not permitted in aisles or guest paths at any time.
