As a Freshman or First Year Student at Emory, you will have Meal Plan A. If you require a Kosher diet you can choose Plan K. Both plans are a combination of entries to the DUC-ling, Meal Exchange and Dooley Dollars that can be used to make purchases at on-campus food locations.
As a Transfer Student you may select any meal plan based on your academic standing in school.
For further details on Meal Exchange, Dooley Dollars as well as more on the Dining Plans, visit the Dining Plans section of this web site.
Diet & Nutrition - Special Diets
Emory University offers a number of menu items suitable for diners with special dietary needs. For further details visit the Diet & Nutrition section of this web site.
Dooley Dollars are a component of a University meal plan. Dooley Dollars purchases are always tax free. Additionally they enjoy a 5% discount at all dining locations except for food trucks and the farmer's market. As part of a campus meal plan, Dooley Dollars may only be used at campus dining locations including food trucks and the farmer's market.
Meal swipes may be conveniently used for meal exchange items at White Hall, the SAAC Café or the Woodruff Café.
Eagle Dollars are not part of the campus meal plan and are administered through the University Emory Card office. They may be used at variety of on or off campus (e.g. bookstore, or CVS) locations in addition to all dining locations. Eagle Dollar purchases are taxed at the current Georgia State tax rate.
