Events in Cox Hall - Room Fees

Meeting and event space in Cox Hall can be reserved by Emory departments and sanctioned Emory student organizations free of charge for non-class activities by contacting Meeting Services. Outside organizations, including but not limited to comercial vendors, organizations and residential conferece groups may be provided for a fee.

Room Setups

Each meeting and event space is unique in its configuration. We have included seating capacities based on traditional setups. These setups are not the only way each space can be configured. Please feel free to discuss with the Meeting Services staff how you would like your space configured. Theses numbers are just estimates that will need to be adjusted based on the overall configuration of the space.

Audio/Visual Capabilities

Each meeting and event space within the Ballroom is equipped with its own microphone system. Volume for the microphones is controlled individually in each room.

Cox Hall 4 is equipped with an overhead, ceiling mounted LCD projector working in conjunction with an automatic screen mounted to the center of the back wall. This projector is accessible to most laptops and includes integration into the room’s audio system.

Wireless internet connectivity is available in all of Cox Hall. Data and Phone line connections are available in all meeting and event spaces and can be activated for a fee. Meeting Services has access to portable LCD projectors and screens as well as other meeting and event equipment such as podiums and easels.

When reserving your space through Meeting Services be sure to indicate all your AV and equipment needs in your reservation request. In addition to your reservation request please communicate with the Emory Catering staff your needs as well.

The use and operation of AV and other equipment is the responsibility of the customer. Prior to your event analyze the equipment that you will be using to insure that members of your group know how to operate it. Do you know how to utilize an LCD screen or configure a laptop computer? If no one in your group has the knowledge to do so then the Meeting Services staff can put you in contact with an AV technician prior to your event.

All meeting and event spaces are reserved through Meeting Services.

All catering for Cox Hall is done through Emory Catering.
