Transition to Retirement Committee

The Transition to Retirement Committee assists faculty and senior administrators to do advance planning for retirement by offering seminars during the year. The seminars are generally led by Emory faculty. Recent topics have included the psychological aspects of retirement and information on estate planning including will and trusts.

The Committee, in conjunction with the Faculty Staff Assistance Program, has begun a Retirement Mentoring Program which is designed to assist pre-retirees with the anticipated lifestyle, social, emotional, and psychological transition to a fulfilling life in retirement. More details can be found here. Interested faculty can contact EUEC Director Gray Crouse for more information or to enroll in the program.
