The EUEC has discussed several options for expanding the EUEC website, based on user/member input and the needs of the organization. Most of this change will be to the Members section of the site; we hope to add a directory of members and provide members¿ links for their own websites as available, among other changes. Another area of growth will be in the media available on the EUEC website (video, audio, photo) and participation in Emory iTunes U and Emory¿s YouTube channel.

This project derives from a need to become more integrally involved in the faculty retirement process in order to continue increasing membership of the EUEC. Budgetary constraints prevent large-scale advertising and other types of recruiting campaigns. At the same time, faculty are increasingly familiar with internet technology and users of it, so it is important to concentrate some energy on this aspect of the organization. This also fits with the expanding scope of Emory¿s web presence and the University¿s emphasis on maintaining and growing this presence.
