Join the EUEC
Most of the members of the Emory University Emeritus College are retired faculty and senior administrators of the University. The association was established to advance the intellectual and creative interests of such members in particular, to maintain their social connections with University colleagues, to provide them opportunities for service to the University and the wider community, and to offer them a forum for commentary on issues of broad public interest. However, we would note that it is not necessary for a retiree to have official emeritus status in order to join the Emeritus College.* And we would also note that active faculty and senior administrators are welcome to become members before their retirement. Joining the EUEC can in fact be a helpful step in transitioning to retirement, especially for those who take advantage of our retirement mentoring program.
The Emeritus College has some 590 listed members, with the majority still living near Emory but with others living across the United States and even outside the U.S. Members receive a bi-monthly newsletter and invitations to all of our programs and activities, some of which are available for virtual attendance both as they happen and afterwards via webcasts.
There are no fees required for membership. However, contributions to the Emeritus College are welcome and provide an important source of income for our work. Donations can be sent to our attention via Emory’s Development Office:
Office of Gift Records

Donations also can be submitted online here.
