The Emory Financial Planning Certificate Program provides financial planning professionals with the skills, training, and knowledge to succeed in the financial planning industry, as well as the educational requirement needed to sit for the CFP® Certification Examination. Our program's schedule allows you to complete your studies in approximately 9 months, while maintaining a full-time job. The program curriculum includes: personal financial planning, retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, insurance, and investments, and focuses on all 89 subtopics necessary to successfully pass the CFP® Exam.

We encourage you to compare our curriculum with other schools and share it with practicing financial professionals.

Financial Planning resource materials including textbooks, reference books, and website support are provided for participants progressing through this challenging certification. These resources are all included in the cost of the program. There are no extra costs or hidden fees.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
Emory University does not certify individuals to use the CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and federally registered certification marks. CFP® certification is granted only by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. to those persons who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP Board-Registered Program, have met its ethics, experience and examination requirements.
