Faculty Information

Based on the current COVID-19 conditions in Atlanta, we have made very difficult decisions that will impact all members of our community.

We are committed to providing resources to faculty members during this difficult time, and we are grateful for your flexibility and resilience.

Please know that we appreciate and value all of our students, faculty, and staff, and our hope for the spring is to expand the in-person opportunities if conditions allow. We look forward to the collective impact we all will have in Atlanta and in the world, whether remote or in person.

Fall 2020 Onboarding

Reducing population density is an essential condition to ensure community safety this fall. You should continue to work remotely if your responsibilities do not require you to be on campus. Unit leaders will determine which responsibilities require being on campus and will notify those staff members directly. If you are instructed to come on campus, rest assured that Emory has instituted new health and safety guidelines for offices, classrooms, and common areas to help reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus and mitigate risk to our students, faculty, and staff.

For those returning to campus this fall, the Faculty and Staff Community Compact outlines expectations and guidelines you must adhere to for everyone's safety and well-being.
