Student Groups

  • American Red Cross Campus Club at Emory promotes awareness of emergency preparedness on campus, recognizes the need to be individually prepared for emergencies and to leverage our classroom skills in a crisis response. The ARC Campus Club provides Red Cross services to students and the local community. The club is supported and led by Emory University students.
  • Emory EMS (EEMS) is a student-run, volunteer, quick response emergency medical service and unit of the Special Services Division of the Emory University Police Department. EEMS provides emergency and non-emergency medical care to Emory University Clifton, Clairmont and Briarcliff campuses. EEMS works in coordination with DeKalb County Fire and Rescue to provide high-quality, professional, confidential, and expeditious emergency medical care.
  • Student Outreach and Response Team (SORT) provides hands on experience to improve community health, works directly with the Dekalb Board of Health, provides experience in practical aspects of outbreak investigation, based off a program at Johns Hopkins, they do mock small pox vaccination clinics and anthrax clinics, they do West Nile, small pox and refugee health discussions.
