Vaccine clinic for expanded list of priority groups

Update: November 20, 2009 / 5:30 p.m.

  • Emory will offer a single H1N1 and seasonal influenza vaccination clinic on Monday, November 23.
  • Emory's remaining vaccine supply will now allow expansion of our H1N1 vaccination clinics to Emory faculty, staff, students and immediate, same household family members 18 years of age and over in all CDC priority groups. The main changes to our H1N1 vaccine eligibility list are the inclusion healthy persons from ages 18 to 24 and in a broader interpretation of the underlying conditions in those age 25 to 64 that warrant vaccination.
  • As supply allows, Emory hopes to offer additional H1N1 and seasonal influenza vaccination clinics after the Thanksgiving holidays. However, we cannot insure further availability of vaccine after the November 23 clinic until we see the level of utilization.
