Founder, Emory Cares International Day of Service

Each November, Emory Cares International Day of Service unites more than 1,000 members of the Emory community in a celebration of service.
In 2003, Renalda Mack, then-president of what is now the Emory Alumni Board, led the effort to establish an alumni day of service. In less than a decade, that day grew into the University's largest single volunteer activity.
On campus, Volunteer Emory leads a variety of Emory organizations in marshaling student, faculty, and staff participation. Beyond campus, the Emory Alumni Association recruits alumni leaders such as Mack, who yearly coordinates a project in her hometown of West Palm Beach, Florida, where she works in the state's attorney's office.
