we're all about fit

You Have Two Choices at Emory

At Emory we know that one size doesn’t fit all. That’s why two undergraduate liberal arts options await you here. You can choose to apply to Emory College of Arts and Sciences, the four-year undergraduate division of Emory University, or you can apply to Oxford College, and spend freshman and sophomore years at Emory‘s original campus thirty-eight miles east of Atlanta.  Oxford students continue as juniors on the Emory campus in Atlanta. We encourage you to apply to both campuses—it’s easy. Click here to find out more about Emory College and Oxford College.

You can apply to Emory College, Oxford College, or both.

Common Application Tips and Tricks

• Look for Emory University on the Common Application.
When you’re looking for us on the Common Application website, look for Emory University. Emory College and Oxford College are listed under Emory University, not separately under each school’s name.

• Are you applying to both Emory College and Oxford College?
If you are, you only need to apply once, send materials like the transcript and recommendations once, and pay the application fee once. For more information, click here.

• Do you have questions about the Common Application Future Plans section?
This section of the Common Application is sometimes confusing for people applying to both Emory College and Oxford College. The Common Application doesn’t let you distinguish application plans between Emory University divisions. So if you’re applying to both Emory College and Oxford College and also applying Early Decision to one of them, just check the Early Decision box on the Common Application website. This will prompt the Early Decision Agreement. On the Emory University Supplement you will have the chance to indicate your specific application plans for each college.
