Division of Campus Life

The Division of Campus Life is committed to building a campus culture that reflects the Emory community’s values and aspirations. One of the roles of Campus Life is to recognize that all students are potential leaders. Through leadership and many other aspects of campus life, Emory inspires self-awareness and enhances the student experience in meaningful ways.
Campus Life creates a bridge between academics and co-curricular life at Emory. Our mission is to develop students who are compassionate, conscientious, healthy, and active global citizens. Your gift provides each member of the Emory community with the opportunity to dream and to achieve those dreams.

Dean’s 2013 Priorities
Philanthropy provides alumni, parents, and friends the opportunity to enhance student life at Emory in several ways, says Ajay Nair, senior vice president and dean of Campus Life. Funding priorities for 2013 include the following:
Athletics and Recreation. Donor gifts can support individual varsity, club, and intramural teams and strengthen the student-athlete experience.
Barkley Forum. Support can build the student travel fund and volunteer opportunities related to this nationally recognized, award-winning debate team and community-service organization.
Office of Student Leadership and Service. Donors can help students turn ethics into action through leadership and service programs including Volunteer Emory.
Campus Life Fund for Excellence. These pooled annual contributions allow the senior vice president and dean to invest in strategic priorities that enhance the student experience throughout the year.
