Winship Volunteer Inspires With Healing Power of Music

When Brenda Nease was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1999, listening to music and playing the piano helped her through her treatment and recovery.

Now Nease uses music to help other patients and their families at Emory Winship Cancer Institute.

Funding is Boost for Pediatrics Partners

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta has received a $30 million grant from the Joseph B. Whitehead Foundation. The grant consists of $25 million to help fund a new pediatric research building located on the Emory campus, and the remaining $5 million will support the Marcus Autism Center and its strategic vision.
