Kick off the CEBA/BSA Anniversary Weekend with a reception at the new Black Student Union, located in the DUC Down Under. Re-Unite with your classmates and mingle with current BSA students. Attendees will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, a beer/wine bar, and entertainment. Help us raise awareness and funds for both the Herman L. 8:00 a.m. | Homecoming Intramural 5K Run through Lullwater Park | Student Activity & Academic Center, Clairmont Campus
The walk/run will begin outside the Student Activity & Academic Center and run through Lullwater Park. All those interested are encouraged to register online, but walk ups are also welcome. On-site registration will be from 7:00 - 7:45 a.m. Prizes will be awarded to male and female winners in 5 age groups (21 and under, 22-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 and up). The run is hosted by Powerade and the Emory Alumni Association.There is no charge for Emory University students, faculty/staff, alumni, friends, and families.

A Global Dilemma: Our Health and the Environment

Advances in industry and technology have made our lives safer, yet they have also created potential dangers. Health is linked to the places in which we live, the water that we drink, and the air that we breathe; therefore environmental exposures have a direct impact on our physical well-being. Emory faculty who are leaders in researching this topic will examine how environmental threats are affecting our health, their impact on our policies and healthcare system, and the ways we can strike a balance between economic growth and a healthy world.
A View from the Top: Lessons in Leadership
