After growing up in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois, Stephanie gladly fled south for college to escape the snowy winters. She earned her BA at the University of Alabama in 2002, then moved to Atlanta and joined the ISSS team in early 2003.

As ISSS’s Assistant Director, Stephanie is responsible for Emory University’s SEVIS reporting, data management, student health insurance coordination, and other operations and technology functions. She also files permanent residency petitions on behalf of eligible Emory University employees, advises and conducts training sessions for departments hosting international students and scholars, and performs a number of “other duties as assigned.”

Stephanie is currently a part-time student at the Rollins School of Public Health pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Health Informatics. She has traveled throughout the North American continent and greatly enjoys the cultural diversity and experiences the international population brings to Emory.  In her free time, she enjoys writing, theater, and singing. Most recently, she has performed with the Atlanta Schola Cantorum and in Camerata Theatre’s annual Play of Herod.
