Transferring From Emory
J Exchange Visitors may request to transfer to continue their program at another U.S. institution. An official offer/invitation must be obtained by the scholar first, then an ISSS scholar advisor will need to approve a Transfer Out Form. Transfer Forms vary from school to school, but typically, the information is exchanged and the transfer coordinated between the two international offices.
Departmental administrators may be approached to assist with planning an exit date. Keep in mind that the Exchange Program must be continuous and that no gap of time should exist between programs.
