The International Student Forum with President Jimmy Carter will be held on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011 from 3-4 p.m. It will be held in the Tull Auditorium (3rd floor) in the law school. The former President will speak and answer questions regarding his political career and continuing work in human rights and international relations. The Carter Forum is sponsored by Emory Law’s Office of Student Affairs.
This event is limited to 80 people. Students will have the opportunity to have an intimate Q & A session with President Carter, so please come prepared with questions. You must bring your Emory ID, and will not be allowed to carry bags, heavy jackets or cameras.
If you wish to be in a group photograph with President Carter, please arrive before 2:40 p.m. Further information about ordering a copy of the photograph will be available.
The event is free but you must register online to gain entry. A sign-up form is available on the law school’s website. The forum is for international students ONLY. If the sign-up is full, check back later because some slots might become available.
Please be aware that, due to security and protocol concerns, you may not arrive after 3 p.m. and you may not leave until the end of the program at 4 p.m. If you are not able to arrive on time or if you would be required to leave before the end of the program, please do not sign up for the forum.
