OPT Workshops and Appointments
Many of you are preparing for graduation and plans are underway to begin a new career this summer. In preparation for the next phase of your career, you may opt to apply for employment authorization through optional practical training (OPT). If you are interested in applying, you are required to attend an OPT Workshop.
Workshops are limited to 20 people and you must arrive at least 5 minutes before your workshop is scheduled to start. After attending a workshop, contact our office and ask the receptionist to schedule an individual appointment for you to meet with your advisor. You MUST attend a workshop before meeting one-on-one with your advisor.
