ISSS will host a special workshop for individuals eligible for the OPT 17 Month Extension. Those that are eligible are majoring in fields associated with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). This workshop will immediately following the OPT workshop on March 1, 2011 at 11:30 am. If you are a recent graduate or you will graduate between May 2011 and December 2012, this workshop is specifically for you. To participate, please sign up by clicking on this link. The Emory programs that currently qualify for the 17 Month Extension are: Computer Science; Computer Science & Informatics; Biomedical Engineering; Biology; Biological and Biomedical Sciences; Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology; Biostatistics; Human & Natural Ecology; Epidemiology; Global Epidemiology; Maternal & Child Health Epidemiology; Applied Epidemiology; Mathematics; Applied Mathematics; Astronomy; Chemistry; Physics; Clinical Research. If your major is not one of the above listed programs, you are not eligible for the extension.
