Visa Processing Changes:Egypt and India
EGYPT
Effective immediately, the U.S. Embassy in Cairo has suspended visa services due to security concerns. For more information, please read the following announcement: http://www.aila.org/content/default.aspx?docid=34738 If you plan to travel to Egypt and you have an expired visa, you will need to make alternative arrangements for visa processing in order to secure a valid visa for re-entry purposes to the U.S.
INDIA
Effective immediately, the U.S. Consulate in Mumbai is no longer processing H and L visa stamps. Applicants needing to secure H or L visas should plan to visit the consulates in New Delhi, Chennai, or Hyderabad.
