DISCO International to Host Career Forums
DISCO International, organizer of the largest job fair for Japanese-English bilinguals, will be holding several job fairs that we encourage Japanese-English bilingual students take advantage of this year. Both Career Forums are great opportunities for Japanese-English bilingual students to see what internship and full-time positions are available to them. There is no cost for students to participate in these events, and students can apply to receive travel scholarships.
Los Angeles Career Forum 2011: Friday, Oct. 7 & Saturday, Oct. 8
Boston Career Forum 2011: Friday, Nov. 11 through Sunday, Nov. 13
DISCO will also be holding its first Asian Bilingual Career Forum on Nov. 12 and 13 for undergraduate and graduate students who are:
- bilingual in English and one other Asian language, excluding Japanese (Ex. Chinese, Korean, Hindu, Vietnamese, etc.)
- graduating or have graduated with a bachelor's degree or higher from a U.S. university
- available to work in Asia
- receive an invitation from DISCO
Because this will be an invitation-only event, students will first fill in an invitation request online. DISCO will then send invitations by email to those selected to attend the event. There is no cost to request an invitation or to attend the Career Forum. Travel scholarships are also available.
