Online registration for the Green Card lottery begins at noon on Oct. 4
The congressionally mandated Diversity Immigrant Visa Program (a.k.a. the Green Card Lottery) makes up to 50,000 permanent resident visas available annually to persons who meet strict eligibility requirements and who are citizens of countries with low rates of immigration to the United States. Winning entries are drawn from random selection among all entries.
The online registration period for DV-2013 will begin at www.dvlottery.state.gov on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at noon, and conclude on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at noon.
