Fall Break Travel Signature Days

Need a break from coursework or research? Before you head to the airport, do not forget that you are required to have appropriate signatures on your immigration documents before you leave the U.S. ISSS is hosting fall break travel signature days for you and your dependents. The following items are required to obtain a travel signature:

You will only receive a signature if you have all items as mentioned. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide you with a signature without all three items.

The DSO and AROs will be available to sign your I-20 or DS-2019 during the dates below. Visit our office in the North Decatur Building, Suite 130 located at 1784 North Decatur Road, during the following times:

Thursday, October 11, 9 a.m.–12 p.m. and 1–4 pm

Friday, October 12, 9 a.m.–12 p.m. and 1–4 pm

If you are a F-1 or J-1 student, and you are the possession of an I-20 or DS-2019 issued by Emory, visit the familiarize yourself with the student travel information section on our website. If your visa has expired, you will need to plan to renew your visa in advance of travel. Please note: if you a student subject to a security clearance because of your major (STEM related fields), ask your academic advisor to prepare a brief letter describing the nature of your research.

If you are a J-1 research scholar, professor, specialist, or short-term scholar and are in possession of a DS-2019 issued by Emory University, visit the scholar travel section. Remember that you will require a signature on your DS-2019 signed by an Alternate Responsible Officer in the ISSS office before you depart the U.S.
