Transportation to Emory
This information is specific to students arriving at the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International airport.
Once you have reclaimed your baggage, follow the signs directing you to Ground Transportation.
By Taxi: Taxi fare from the airport is approximately $25-$40 one-way. If you are living in on-campus housing, you should ask the cab driver to take you to Few Hall (4 Eagle Row, Atlanta, GA 30322) so you may check-in. Allow at least one hour travel time during weekday rush hours (7:00-9:00 am and 3:30-7:00 pm). For taxi information, call 404-520-6698.
By Shuttle: Atlanta Airport Superior Shuttle provides shuttle service to and from the Atlanta Airport. The shuttle will drop you off and pick you up from the campus or major hotels. You may only ride the shuttle if you have a resrvation. Reservations may be made by calling 770-457-4794 or via their website. At the exit door for Ground Transportation, you will see the taxis. Across from the taxis you will see the shuttle buses. Look for Atlanta Airport Superior Shuttle in stalls F11 and F12. The cost from the airport to campus is approximately $20 one-way ($35 round trip), with lower fares depending on your pick-up/drop-off location.
By MARTA (Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority): Follow the signs to MARTA near Ground Transportation. The fare is $2.50. You may purchase tickets from machines by the MARTA entrance. Take any train northbound to the Lindbergh MARTA station. The train ride from the airport to the Lindbergh station takes approximately 30 minutes. These trains run every 15-20 minutes between 4:35am and 1:00am.
At the Lindbergh station, transfer to the "#6-Emory" bus. The bus ride from Lindbergh station to Emory takes approximately 20 minutes. Ask the bus driver to let you off on Clifton Road in front of Emory University Hospital and the Emory Clinic. This stop is known as "Clifton Road - Uppergate Drive." Harris Hall is located next to the Emory University Hospital at 1340 Clifton Road.
Bus departure times may be found on the MARTA Website. Outside of bus departure times it will be necessary to take a taxi.
