Employment, Stipends and Social Security
It is imperative that all international students clearly understand and follow all rules pertaining to employment in the United States. Unauthorized employment may result in termination of the SEVIS record and loss of student visa status. Before you begin any type of employment, including teaching and research assistantships, you must obtain authorization from your International Student Advisor in ISSS.
