Shortening the Academic Program
A student who will complete his or her program of study before the date of completion listed in item #5 on the I-20 must request a new I-20 as soon as this information can be verified by the Academic Advisor or Dean in the student’s department.
ProcedureTo request a program shorten, you must drop off the following documents at ISSS:

A completed Shorten Program Request Form

Copies of most current I-20 (Page 1 and Page 3)
- Copy of most recent I-94 card (front and back)
Please allow five business days for processing. Your International Student Advisor will email you when your new I-20 is ready to be signed and picked up.
