Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin to Address Emory University Community March 21

WHAT: "Women in Leadership" speech, sponsored by EmoryÕs Residence Hall Association

WHEN: 7--8 p.m., Thursday, March 21

WHERE: Cox Hall Ballroom, 569 Asbury Circle, Emory (The building with the clock tower.)

PARKING: Television trucks may park on Asbury Circle in the turn-around behind Emory Hospital. All others park in Fishburne deck (on Fishburne Drive behind Goizueta Business School) or street spaces zoned 2 or 3.

Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin will speak at Emory University March 21 as part of a campus-wide Residence Hall Association program for WomenÕs History Month. Franklin will discuss "Women in Leadership." She is scheduled to talk for 20 minutes followed by a 40-minute question and answer period. Franklin will answer written questions from staff and students (media will not be able to ask questions). Questions will be selected at random.

The event is not open to the public, but press seating will be available. A multi-box will be available if needed.
