Thrower Symposium, Thursday, Feb. 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., in the school's Gambrell Hall, 1301 Clifton Rd. This year's symposium "Legal Science: An Interdisciplinary Examination of the Use and Misuse of Science in the Law" brings together panels of experts to discuss how scientific theories, studies and evidence influence legal proceedings. Panelists for the symposium include Emory Law associate professor Julie Seaman and alumna Chilton Davis Varner, a partner at King & Spalding in Atlanta.
