The strategic focus of the Institute, including funding priorities, is guided by an Internal Advisory Board composed of Deans and other
senior officials at Emory. The internal board works with Institute leadership to determine and promote funding, as well as track and review the progress of the Institute. The Institute's External Advisory Board is comprised of experts from various sectors who not only serve as ambassadors for the Institute, but offer their vast experience, wisdom and expertise to support the Institute through fellowships, conference participation, authorship and other visible activities.
