Marion Dearing has served as Executive Assistant to the President since 1988, giving her the opportunity to work with four gifted leaders.
As a longtime citizen of the Emory community, Marion has been a member of the Work-Life Initiative Task Force, the Center for Women Advisory Board, and the program liaison committee with Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church; has participated in the Relay for Life; and is often seen rooting for the Emory Eagles at campus sporting events.
Among Marion's job responsibilities are managing the President's calendar and commitments, coordinating briefing materials, and acting as a contact and liaison in the President's office for those in the Emory community and beyond.
