Sally Wolff-King joined the Office of the President as an assistant vice president in 2008, and works with Vice President Gary Hauk on Founders Week, Convocation, Commencement, and other related projects. With Dr. Hauk, she is co-editing a new book about the history of Emory University.
She previously served as assistant and then associate dean of Emory College from 1989 to 2008 and teaches courses in Southern Literature and Native American Literature at Emory. She is the author of Talking About William Faulkner (L.S.U. Press, 1996), and the coeditor of Southern Mothers: Fact and Fiction in Southern Women's Writing (L.S.U. Press, 1999), as well as numerous articles on Southern literature. She is currently preparing two new books: one on William Faulkner and another on Eudora Welty.
She enjoys reading and rose gardening.
