Emory University is a world-class research institution that draws its strengths from an interdisciplinary approach to the sciences within the University and from research partnerships with other academic institutions, industry and government.
Emory receives more research funding than any other university in Georgia, including more than $350 million in fiscal year 2004, of which $320 million was in the health sciences. The University has added more than 3.2 million square feet of space over the past seven years for teaching, research and patient care including, most recently, a neuroscience research building, a pediatrics building, a cancer institute and a mathematics and science center.
