Wendell S. ReillyWendell Reilly was elected an alumni trustee in 2001, and a term trustee in 2005.

A 1980 graduate of Emory College, he earned his MBA in finance from Vanderbilt University in 1983. Prior to his current position, he was chairman and CEO of Grapevine Television. He also was chief financial officer for Haas Publishing Companies and Lamar Outdoor Advertising. Mr. Reilly currently serves as a director of Lamar Advertising Company and Brown & Brown Inc.

Mr. Reilly serves on the investment committees for the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta and the Paidiea School. He founded a micro-loan program for self-employed entrepreneurs in Atlanta and currently serves on the advisory board of ACCION Atlanta. Mr. Reilly is leading the effort for Emory Arts and Sciences as part of the University-wide comprehensive campaign. He is a director of Wesley Woods Center.

A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he is related to L. Q. C. Lamar, former Supreme Court Justice and 1845 Emory graduate for whom the Emory School of Law was previously named.
