CEO and President
Gary Rollins is CEO and president of Rollins Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia.
Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he grew up in Wilmington, Delaware. In 1967 he graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BS in business administration, having joined Orkin Exterminating the previous year. He was elevated to president of Orkin in 1978 and became Chairman in 2004. He was appointed president of Rollins, Inc., the parent company, in 1984 and CEO in 2001.
Mr. Rollins is a director of RPC, Marine Products Corporation, and Genuine Parts Company. He is a former trustee of Egleston Children’s Hospital, the Westminster School, and is a founding director of Tuxedo Park Civic Association, as well as a member of the Atlanta High Museum of Art and the United Way de Tocqueville Society.
He was elected as an Emory term trustee in 2001.
