In her role as Communications Specialist, Tiffany Worboy supports the Emory University Board of Trustees; more specifically, she is the Committee Coordinator for Full Board and scribes for Academic Affairs and Campus Life Committees. She also provides technological support for the Board and the Secretary's office and assists in various writing and research projects.
Tiffany came to Emory in 1999 to pursue to her doctoral degree in Women's Studies. She has taught, and served as a teaching assistant, for Emory courses ranging from: Introduction to Women’s Studies; Reproduction & the Female Body; Feminist Ethnographies of Women’s Health; Culture of the University; and a theory-practice-learning course on Internships in Women’s Studies. Over the years, she has held administrative positions in both the Provost and Emory College Offices. Prior to joining the Secretary's Office, Tiffany was the Assistant Director for the Pre-Health Mentoring Office.
Tiffany's service to the University includes: serving on the Executive Committee of the President’s Commission on the Status of Women (PCSW); serving as member and chair of the Women in Leadership (WIL) Committee; and serving as member and chair of the Advisory Council for the Center for Women at Emory (CWE).
