Both Emory University and the Georgia Institute of Technology have excellent websites detailing travel information, parking facilities, area hotels and restaurants.

Because the events on Saturday and Sunday will be on the Emory campus, we have reserved a number of rooms at the Emory Conference Center Hotel for the Emory group rate of $159 per night. Be sure to reference "SouthernHoST" when you make your reservation. Airport shuttles are available to and from the hotel through Atlanta Superior Airport Shuttle. (If you would like to make reservations at a less expensive hotel or B&B near the Emory campus, please view www.emory.edu/visitors.cfm for options.)

Parking is difficult on all large university campuses. Both Emory and Georgia Tech have visitor parking, but it is not always contiguous to event locations, so please plan accordingly. If you have special transportation or mobility needs or have any questions about your stay in the Atlanta area, please contact SouthernHosT@listserv.emory.edu
