The Campus Master Facility Plan and the Comprehensive Campaign are vital components of the enabling infrastructure to implement the strategic plan.
Campus Master Plan
The primary drivers of the 2005 Campus Master Facility Plan were to increase the breadth of Emory's walking campus, enhance student life, integrate disciplines, and develop a health care facility for the 21st century. Additionally, Emory needed to reassess its natural areas and balance the transportation needs, prepare for growth of academic, research, and clinical space, and modernize outdated spaces.
Emory University begun and successfully completed a seven-year comprehensive campaign to achieve Emory's vision and implement the plan, raising over $1.7 billion by the end of 2012.
