Funded by the student activity fee, the SPC provides University-wide entertainment and fosters school spirit through concerts, speakers and events. SPC events include Homecoming Weekend, Fall Band Party, Dooley's Week and Spring Band Party. SPC also hosts various speakers and special activities throughout the year.

Membership on the council is open to all interested graduate and undergraduate students and consists of members-at-large, committee chairpersons and executive board officers. SPC's weekly meetings, held on Thursdays at 7 p.m. in 355 Dobbs University Center, are open to the entire student body.

The SPC office is located in 504E Dobbs University Center; the office phone number is 404.727.6191; and the campus address is Drawer AM.
