Carter publishes book
on George Wallace and his politics of rage
Dan Carter, Kenan Professor of History, signed copies of his new book,
The
Politics of Rage: George Wallace, The Origins of the New Conservatism and
the
Transformation of American Politics at Oxford Books. In the book,
Carter
examines the turbulent personal and political life of Alabama's most
controversial governor and his role as the "alchemist for the new social
