Well House offers summer programs, blood drives
Get fit and stay healthy this summer through Well House programs, starting with its “Summer Fun, Summer Safety” information stops. Offering free tips on everything from water safety to skin protection, these stops will be held from 11 a.m.
to 1 p.m. at the following locations:
• June 13: Dobbs Center
• June 19: Human Resources
• June 27: Emory Hospital

The Well House also is offering a 12-week Weight Watchers summer session. The first class is June 18 in the clinic’s Brown Auditorium. Cost for the program is $120.

Along with the Red Cross, the Well House also is sponsoring blood drives throughout the summer at the P.E. Center. The drives run from noon to 5 p.m. on June 20, July 24, Aug. 28 and Sept. 27.

LGB health issues forum to be held June 12
Emory Hospitals, along with Borders Midtown, is sponsoring a forum on health concerns in the gay and lesbian community, to be held June 12 from 7–8:30 p.m. in Borders Midtown at 630 Ponce de Leon Ave.

On hand will be health professionals and HIV/AIDS specialists from Emory Hospital, Emory Clinic and AID Atlanta.
