Program History

Emory Shredding Services has been providing secure and convenient document destruction to Emory University and Emory Healthcare Clinics since 2006.
We provide customers with locked secure consoles for collecting confidential papers and mixed media. Our secure consoles are emptied on a regular service schedule by security trained technicians. We work with you to assess the best and most cost-effective options to ensure your shredding is efficient and secure.

Plant Based Operations

Emory Shredding Services is a member of NAID (The National Association for Information Destruction) and maintains all security requirements set forth by NAID. Emory Shredding Service (ESS) operates one plant-based industrial size shredder located on Emory University’s main campus on Peavine Creek Drive.  ESS provides document shredding services for over 300 Emory University and Emory Healthcare Clinic customers.  The facility is also home to Emory Recycles operations and provides ESS a convenient means for recycling shredded material.

Emory Shredding Services employees must adhere to all security requirements at all times. Customers are immediately notified in the case of a security breach and appropriate documentation and forms are completed. Any procedure protocols are provided upon customer request.
