See the highlights and beauty of Emory University in Atlanta, one of the world's leading liberal arts intensive research universities. Emory empowers the active, passionate pursuit of learning for a better world.

High-achieving students apply to Emory University for its top-ranked, liberal arts education that is both rigorous and relevant. Emory students benefit from being taught by faculty members who are prominent scholars as well as gifted and dedicated teachers and mentors. Students also enjoy Emory's location in Atlanta, a bustling international city that provides countless opportunities for fun and real-world internship experiences.

Emory combines the personal engagement and excellent teaching of a traditional liberal arts college with the ground-breaking scholarship and resources of a major research university and offers students a choice between two different undergraduate experiences at two distinct campuses: Emory College in Atlanta, Georgia, and Oxford College in Oxford, Georgia:

  • Emory College is a fit for a student who values academic independence and the resources of one of the largest cities in the country. A student's academics and life outside of class are enhanced by hands-on industry access and internship opportunities.
  • Oxford College is ideal for a student who seeks an intimate campus and early opportunities for leadership. Oxford students benefit from smaller classes, personal interaction between students and professors, and extensive opportunities to get involved, all of which lay the foundation for the specialized work they do when they continue as juniors at Emory's Atlanta campus.

You can apply to both schools through the Common Application. All Emory undergraduates complete their degrees in Emory College of Arts and Sciences, the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing or the Goizueta Business School.
