Two book signings scheduled this month
A political science professor and Emory’s bishop-in-residence will be signing copies of their most recent books at two separate events this month.

Dan Reiter, associate professor of political science, will be signing copies of his just-released book Democracy and War in the 21st Century, Wednesday, March 6, at 6 p.m. in White Hall 207. Prior to the signing, Reiter will discuss his work, which explains why democracies win wars. Joining him will be Kris Osborne of CNN Headline News, who will share his views on the media’s role in the war on terrorism.

L. Bevel Jones, retired bishop of the United Methodist Church and Emory’s bishop-in-residence, will sign copies of his memoir, One Step Beyond Caution, in Cokesbury Bookstore, at 2495 Lawrenceville Highway in Decatur, Saturday, March 16, from 11 a.m–3 p.m.

Well House to sponsor summer camp InfoStops
The Emory Well House will be hosting 2002 Summer Camp InfoStops across campus throughout March and April.

In March, the InfoStops will be held in the following locations: Wesley Woods cafeteria lobby (March 12); Asbury Court, Emory University Hospital (March 19); Oxford College Student Center (March 21); Yerkes Primate Research Center (March 21); and the Facilities Management conference room (March 26). At each location, the InfoStops will be held 11 a.m.–1 p.m., except for the Oxford event, which will be noon–2 p.m.
