E. Brooks Holifield
E. Brooks Holifield was honored as an outstanding theological educator by the Association of Theological Schools.
As part of the award, Holifield, the Charles Howard Candler Professor of American Church History, spoke at the American Academy of Religion meeting in Montreal on the vocation of a historian in theological education. The meeting also featured a reception honoring Holifield and his many contributions to theological education.
