Emory’s Center for Interactive Teaching (ECIT) invites faculty to end-of-the-semester workshops about Blackboard.
Blackboard is an integrated set of web-based tools for course management and delivery.
At Blackboard Open Houses on Wednesday, Dec. 8 and Tuesday, Dec. 14, ECIT will offer one-on-one assistance for wrapping up fall Blackboard sites, answering questions such as how to archive a course, how to download the Grade Center, and how to get started for spring semester. Participants can bring their own laptops.
On Thursday, Dec. 16, ECIT presents a workshop on “Blackboard: Course Design & Development.” Faculty participants will learn how to:
• organize content and the course menu
• use learning modules
• link eReserves
• upload video
• use tools offered in Blackboard, including tests, assignments, SafeAssign, the Grade Center, blogs/wikis and the Early Warning System.
Visit the ECIT calendar for times, locations and more information.
